Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani Receives ‘Best Of Africa’ Award From Forbes

 


After two years of devastating economic and social conditions, normalcy has started to begin. It can be seen in the form of opening of the economy as well as events and conferences being held across. The Forbes-FIN (Foreign Investment Network) is one of these events that place in Africa. This event took place virtually to comply with the ongoing Covid-19 norms. The Forbes-FIN event was further complemented by the Forbes ‘Best of Africa award ceremony which is one of the top philanthropy and corporate awards across Zambia. The Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ award ceremony was the highlight of the FIN philanthropy and leadership business conference. It is one of the most prestigious and looked-out philanthropy awards across entire Africa. One of the reasons for the significant popularity and respect for the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards is the transparent yet rigorous process of selecting the candidates for the awards. The process involves months of verifications and background checks followed by discussions and interviews with the recipients regarding their views on philanthropy and business leadership for achieving long-term empowerment. For his significant contributions towards the banking industry of Zambia, Dr. Rajan Mahtani was conferred with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was recognized for his numerous business and philanthropic contributions over four decades. Some of his major business contributions include the Mahtani Group of Companies and Finsbury Investments. Similarly, Dr. Mahtani has made numerous philanthropic contributions. Some of these contributions include Prison Fellowship Zambia as well as the Stephen Malama award and scholarship for top law graduates in Zambia.
