Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani’s Struggle For Portland Cement Over With Court Of Appeal Judgement
Being one of the most straight-forward and
moral businesspeople in Zambia, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has never been the one to
surrender. Regardless of these difficulties looked at the Lusaka High Court,
Dr. Mahtani was certain that a ultimate decision will come in support of him considering
the confirmations and evidences shared by him. However, final decision originating
from the Lusaka High Court judge was incredibly questionable as the Ventriglias
family was reported as just investor of the Portland Cement production line
regardless of absence of confirmations and realities from their side.
After this, Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani's next
step was moving toward the higher Court of Appeal. The appointed authority at
the higher Court of Appeal, justice Mwinde, declared the final results in nine
months. While nine months can be considered as unreasonably long for some,
particularly those countries with powerful and quick-track courts, this course
of events is nearly speedier considering the underlying long-running of the
case just as the different difficulties and issues looked by organizations
because of the absence of moral and legitimate standings of even the courts. In
that capacity, the last decision by justice Mwinde in the interest of the Court
of Appeal went ahead 31st January 2019. Justice Mwinde proclaimed Dr. RajanMahtani as the real proprietor and majority share investor of the industrial
facility. This choice was given dependent on the way that Dr. Rajan Lekhraj
Mahtani, in the year 2005, made an installment of one billion kwachas or USD
250,000 to the Portland Cement Zambia, which secured the estimation of the
whole offer capital which Dr. Rajan Mahtani dominates and based on this, the
court announced Dr. Mahtani as actual owner of the factory.
